Enamelling: The Crucible of Colour: Enamel—a sublime blend of silica, soda ash, and metal oxides—is the artist’s palette, brought to life via high-heat alchemy. In cut-out designs, cloisonné reigns supreme, achieved by soldering metal wires to the base before filling in the sections with enamel layers.
